Organization Description:
Resilience1220 is a non profit organization that offers individual counseling and support groups to young
people ages 12 – 20 and their families, as well as community outreach, with the goal of building life skills
and improving mental wellness. All of our services are free of charge, and we reach youth and families
throughout the mountain area of Jefferson County, Clear Creek, Gilpin, and Park counties.

Role Summary:
The Communications and Development Manager is a multifaceted role responsible for the organization's
branding, messaging, online presence, content creation, event coordination and volunteer management.
This position works directly with the Executive Director assisting in strategic planning, budget setting and
project planning.

Branding & Messaging Responsibilities:
? Oversee and manage the organization's website using the Wix platform
? Manage and grow our facebook and instagram social media platforms
? Serve as the primary point of contact for community via phone and email
? Outreach to local media and community organizations to promote groups, services and
fundraising events

Content Creation Responsibilities:
? Develop compelling narratives across platforms that align with our mission and fundraising goals,
using platforms such as Canva and Mailchimp
? Manage the organization's online resource library, ensuring a consistent flow of impactful
resources
? Act as the liaison between the Graphic Designer and Group and Outreach Coordinator for digital
and print marketing materials

Event Coordinator Responsibilities:
? Collaborate with the leadership team to define event goals, budgets, and timelines
? Develop and manage event timelines and checklists
? Coordinate with vendors and potential sponsors
? Develop and oversee event budgets including handling invoicing, tracking expenditures, and
provide post-event financial reports
? Collect feedback from attendees, volunteers, and staff post-event and report to leadership

Volunteer Coordination Responsibilities:
? Serve as primary point of contact for all volunteer inquires
? Collaborate with Director of Therapy and Group and Outreach Coordinator to identify ongoing
volunteer needs
? Conduct and organize volunteer orientation, including specialized training for specific roles
? Coordinate placement of volunteers across events, programs and day to day operations

Additional Requirements:
? Ability to support the mission, vision, and values of Resilience1220
? Ability to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
? Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
? Ability to problem-solve quickly
? Must be organized, able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
? Self-motivated and able to work independently

Necessary Experience:
? Degree or experience in marketing and/or communication with a proven track record of success
? Prior experience working with non-profit organizations, understanding their unique needs
? Proficiency in using platforms such as Salesforce, Wix, Mailchimp, or Little Green Light for
website management, email campaigns, and donor management
? Proficient in Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Drive etc.) or other spreadsheet software
? Demonstrated expertise in planning and executing large-scale fundraising events, including
coordinating logistics, managing stakeholders, and achieving fundraising goals

Compensation:
Salary Range: $45,500 - $50,000
This is a full-time salaried position, which includes paid vacation, sick leave, and stipend for health
coverage. Another benefit of working for Resilence1220 is the ability to work in-person or virtually as
needed and offering a flexible working schedule, ensuring completion of tasks and projects on time.
