Description
YOGA at Evergreen Library! Mondays 6 - 7 PM, October 17th - December 19th. NOT a Stretching or Aerobics class! Traditional Yoga (Ashtanga Vinyasa) is a Breathing class. Learn to breathe deeply and fully, develop mental focus and engage deep muscles for the support and protection of bones, joints, ligaments,and tendons. When movement flows from the breath, stress disappears and feelings of peace emerge. Side effects may include: Increased muscle mass, strength, and bone density, improved healing, lower blood pressure, improved glucose metabolism and improved sleep. All levels of physical ability welcome. Come to learn to breathe, everything else is just a bonus. Free. Loaner mats available, wear comfortable clothing.
