Description
The Center for the Arts Evergreen will transform Evergreen High School into the holiday wonderland that is Winterfest. This long-standing Evergreen tradition is designed especially for holiday shoppers by featuring almost 100 carefully selected artists who create their wares by hand. Shopping at Winterfest, where everything is handmade, is an excellent alternative to the mall, and you’ll be supporting local artists.
While there will be a wonderful variety of traditional artwork like paintings, photographs, and jewelry, you will be amazed by the selection of unique handmade gifts for everyone on your holiday list.
Winterfest isn’t just a visual feast; entice your taste buds with treats from our food vendors in the cafeteria. After you pick up some delicious treats be sure to catch the holiday music performances by the Evergreen Chorale and Evergreen Children’s Chorale just outside the cafeteria, where you can also browse our sponsor and nonprofit booths.
Keep the kids entertained all day with Santa’s Workshop for children ages 3 to 10. The National Charity League asks for a $5 suggested donation for children to stay and play while parents shop.
Winterfest Arts Festival is produced by the Center for the Arts Evergreen, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization whose mission is “To promote and cultivate artistic excellence in the visual and performing arts in order to enrich the art experience in our mountain community.” The Center fulfills its mission with such programs as Arts in the Schools, Art in the Park, Brown Bag Luncheon Lecture Series, monthly art exhibitions in the Center’s galleries, and providing a meeting place for other arts organizations.
