From Evergreen, go south on Hwy 73 and take a right at the Den Restaurant, located just before the traffic circle at North Turkey Creek Road. Continue down the unmarked road and take your first left. The Montessori School of Evergreen Marshdale campus is on the right. Follow the signs to the Middle School, also on the right. Please join us on Monday, February 1, at 6 p.m. at the Middle School for this informative presentation hosted by Craig Knippenberg, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who lectures around the nation. This presentation is appropriate for parents of children of all ages, especially those in Elementary through Middle School. You will learn about the following and more: how parents should react and interact to social situations a child brings home from school, advice for parents in attaining resilience in supporting a child through social interactions, the social learning curve and the important distinctions between bullying, meanness, and lack of social awareness.
