Walk for Water Benefits Clean Water Organizations
Join the TallGrass Team
During Earth Month, the Aveda Walk for Water takes place in cities all over the country to raise awareness and funds for clean water organizations. The 3-mile walk mimics the average distance women in developing countries have to walk every day to get clean water.
Here in the metro Denver area, the staff of TallGrass Aveda Spa and Salon in Evergreen is conducting a Walk for Water on Earth Day, Friday, April 22, and everyone is invited to come along. Rain or shine, the walk begins at the Evergreen Lake House, 29614 Upper Bear Creek Road, at 10:00 a.m. Participants are asked to bring $50 per walker in contributions to be donated to Western Resource Advocates.
Western Resource Advocates is a non-profit environmental law and policy organization with offices in seven western states including Colorado. The organization protects the West’s land, air and water by promoting clean energy and urban water conservation. Visit WesternResourceAdvocates.org for more information.
Please call TallGrass at 303-670-4444 for directions to the Evergreen Lake House and for more information about the Walk for Water.
