Participate in Colorado's largest Independence Day Race to benefit mt. Evans Home Health & Hospice! Kick off your 4th of July celebration with a beautiful run in the mountains. Take a brisk walk with friends, children and pets; or embark on a competitive run on a gently rolling course through neighborhoods inhabited in equal abundance by elk and pine trees, in a breathtaking Foothills community just 30 minutes west of Denver. Enjoy lots of post-race fun! The Freedom Run 5K starts at 8 a.m. at Evergreen Middle School in Evergreen and ends at Nick’s Pro Fitness with awards, refreshments, and a party for participants, families and friends. Well-behaved dogs and strollers are welcome to participate in the fitness walk. Enjoy live music along the route and kid-friendly activities at the finish, including a Bounce House/slide! Child care is available. Shuttle buses return participants to their cars. The Freedom Run benefits Mt. Evans Home Health & Hospice.
