Why is "fracking" such a hot topic? What is all the fuss about? Why is the oil and gas industry touting this process as the answer to energy independence? Why are many citizens concerned about it and why have some communities banned it? The nonpartisan Jefferson County League of Women Voters will discuss this controversial issue at its December meeting in the Evergreen area. All meetings are open to the public regardless of party affiliation.
