Is your Garden smart?
Description
Join weed experts and horticulturists, Betsy Kelson and Pat Carter to learn about ornamental weeds and non-invasive garden alternatives. Many of Colorado's most aggressive noxious weeds started in our gardens but escaped to natural areas, threatening native plants and wildlife. Betsy and Pat will help you identify the bad guys and provide sensible alternative plants suitable for our mountain landscape. Participants will receive the booklet, "Garden Smart Colorado" courtesy of the Community Weed Awareness Campaign and Evergreen Audubon.
Registration is required for the program; call 303-330-0489 to sign up. Limited to 15 participants.
