Learn about Colorado hummingbirds and the plants that attract them while gaining knowledge about the unique behaviors and acrobatic movements of these little birds.
Tina Jones helped compile the botany segment for a DVD,'Hummingbirds of North America" by John Vanderpoel and John Dunn. Her yard is an example of a wildlife habitat and is featured in two horticulture books. Tina has had up to six species of hummingbirds in her yard, which is one
block away from Denver County. This program is jointly sponsored by the Evergreen Nature Center and Evergreen Audubon. Registration is required; call 303-330-0489. Class size: 20. Ages 13 and up.
