Recycle your Holiday Trees and Styrofoam
ESA and LAM Tree Services will again collect fresh-cut trees and block styrofoam the first two weekends in January, 2025.
As you start to plan for the holidays, please include where you will dispose of your holiday tree to keep it out of the landfill....a tree that ends up in landfill emits some 4-5 times as much carbon as one that doesn’t, according to Carbon Trust figures.
LAM Tree Services mulches the trees collected and that mulch can be used by residents to help trees and shrubs retain more moisture in the drier months.
