Do you enjoy working with kids? If so, Hiwan Homestead Museum is the place for you! The Museum is looking for volunteers to assist with its Arts of the Tribal Southwest and Pioneer History Programs, working closely with children from throughout the metro-area. There will be two training dates for Arts of the Tribal Southwest: Thursday, October 7 and Thursday, October 14. The trainings will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM at Hiwan Homestead Museum.
Training dates for Pioneer History Program are Wednesdays from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM, beginning September 15 and running through October 20. Trainings will include 4 afternoon sessions on the art of spinning. All sessions will be held at Hiwan Homestead Museum; bring a lunch.
