Judy will present her one-woman show as Miep Gies to religious school students at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 27. Miep Gies is one of the unsung heroes of the Holocaust. This petite Catholic Dutch woman made the choice to hide Anne Frank and her family in Amsterdam during WWII. She became their Beacon of Hope! Miep was born in 1909, and died in the Netherlands in 2010 at the age of 100.

Imprisoned under horrific conditions, these women defied SS authority when they conspired at great risk to commit imaginative acts of resistance.
