The Family Business Council of Colorado is an educational forum helping its family-managed business members understand the universe of possibilities for family business success.
Program title: From White Castle to the White House:
White Castle, founded in 1921, is home of the small square hamburgers called sliders. Fourth generation family in-law and Vice President of Government and Shareholder Relations, Jamie Richardson, will tell how the company upholds its family values and maintains its culture in the context of government affairs, public relations and community engagement. Family Enterprise USA (FEUSA) is a non-profit advocacy organization promoting a shared voice for the 5.5 million family businesses creating 75% of all new jobs. Ann Kinkade, President of FEUSA, will discuss the importance of providing education to the general public, policymakers and the media about the collective issues facing family enterprises and publicly promoting their contribution to the common good.
