Description
Enjoy New Year's Eve at the Park! Grab your snowshoes and mukluks, load up the kids and come to Conifer Community Park at Beaver Ranch to enjoy snowshoe hikes, sleigh/hay rides, a warming hut with hot chili and snacks, and outdoor fun. Warm up with your friends and family around a bonfire with a cup of steaming hot chocolate as you bring in the New Year under the winter sky!
Activities:
Hikes/Walks:
Hourly 4 - 8 p.m. - Easy snowshoe hike or walking tour of Valley Trail. Great for beginners, children, and those who want to enjoy a leisurely walk under open skies.
Hourly 8 - 11 p.m. - Moderate snowshoe hike or walking tour of Tipi Loop through campground. This tour goes up a moderate hill and under towering conifer trees, and circles back to the Tipi Lodge.
Sleigh/hay rides: Throughout the evening, sleigh guests can bundle up for a sleigh ride from the lower parking areas to the Tipi Lodge and bonfire.
Warming hut and bonfire: Nothing feels as cozy on an outdoor winter night as a bonfire shared with friends and family. Warm up in the Tipi Lodge with a bowl of hot chili or steaming hot cider, hot chocolate, and other beverages and snacks.
Don't have snowshoes? Call us and we'll help you rent some! Beginner and novice snowshoers will enjoy learning how easy it is to walk in the winter forest on modern snowshoes.
