Learn about natural hazards and preparedness at booths about wildfires, landslides & rockslides, radon gas, tornadoes, volcanic ash, radiation & fallout, swelling soils, earthquakes. Representatives from West Metro Fire, RDS Environmental, Colorado Ready, Jefferson County IMT, The Cell Museum and others will be here. Pick up info, ask questions, & score freebies. Try free gold panning, metal detecting, & fossil sifting – all finders keepers. Try Scavenger Hunt & geode cracking & meet Mr. Bones. Take a shuttle bus or hike the Dinosaur Ridge Interpretive Trail where more experts point out dinosaur evidence & answer questions from 10am to 2pm.
