This month's book club hosted by Conifer Historical Society features "Women of the Colorado Gold Rush" where you'll meet the author Julie Bell, have a lively discussion, get your book signed and treat yourself to light refreshments. Explore the lives of ten unforgettable women who called Colorado home during the turbulent years of the Pikes Peak Gold Rush. The unsung heroism, perseverance, hard work, and wisdom of these Native American, Hispanic, Anglo, and African American women helped lay the foundation for the state of Colorado.
