Bassist and composer, Buster Williams returns to Mount Vernon with his all-star quartet, Something More featuring pianist, composer Patrice Rushen, drummer, Leon "Ndugu" Chancler and saxophonist, Mark Gross. Williams' career has included working with the most prolific jazz artists in the history of the music. Before forming his own group, Buster played with the likes of Art Blakey, Freddie Hubbard, Kenny Barron, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Sarah Vaughn, Branford and Wynton Marsalis and hundreds of others. The group "Something More" primarily focuses on William's own recordings along with contributions from his fellow band mates. The current group is clearly an all-star band.
