Description
If you have always wanted to learn social dancing and if you would like to feel comfortable and confident on the dance floor, please join us in this FUN and EASY group class. We created this very popular Social Dancing 101 especially for beginners. Absolutely no dance experience or natural skill is necessary. If you don’t have a dance partner, no worries. We rotate the leaders and followers throughout the lesson to give every student a chance to practice with a variety of dance partners.
We start by teaching very elementary dance movements. We’ll also introduce you to fundamental skills, including the dance “embrace,” how to lead or follow, how to hear the rhythm and tempo of the music, and each week we'll teach the class a few simple patterns in the dances we'll be working on.
