SESSION 1: UNDERSTANDING MEMORY LOSS AND DEMENTIA. What are the differences between Alzheimers, other dementias and normal memory loss due to aging? Learn about the Alzheimer's disease process, the programs offered by the Alzheimer's Assn., and community resources available for both the person with Alzheimer's and the Caregiver. This is part 1 of a 3 part series. The Mountain Caregiver Resource Group includes the Seniors' Resource Center, the Evergreen Library, Mt. Evans Hospice & Home Health, Elk Run Assisted Living & Life Care Center of Evergreen.
