Evergreen Players presents Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors, a fast-paced, laugh-out-loud reimagining of Bram Stoker’s legendary vampire tale, running October 9 - 25 at historic Center/Stage Theater in Evergreen with more laughs than screams. This spooky season, audiences are invited to forget everything they think they know about Count Dracula.

Written by Gordon Greenberg and Steve Rosen, Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors takes the familiar story of the world’s most famous vampire and turns it gloriously upside down. Packed with physical comedy, clever wordplay, quick character changes, and plenty of over-the-top Transylvanian mayhem, the show delivers a fresh and wildly funny take on the classic Gothic tale.

When the mysterious and devastatingly charming Count Dracula arrives in England, he sets his sights on the lovely Lucy Westfeldt—and before long, her family and friends find themselves caught in a battle involving vampires, romance, garlic, questionable medical practices, and one very determined vampire hunter.

What follows is a lightning-fast theatrical adventure in which a small cast takes on a host of colorful characters, creating an evening that is part classic horror story, part romantic comedy, and completely ridiculous.  Whether you’re a lifelong Dracula fan, a lover of Halloween, or simply looking for a fun night out, audiences are encouraged to grab their garlic, protect their necks, and join Evergreen Players for a comedy with plenty of bites.

Shows will be held at historic Center/Stage, 27608 Fireweed Drive, Evergreen CO 80439. Friday & Saturday performances begin at 7:30 p.m. and the Sunday matinee performances at 2:00 p.m.
