Licensed Massage Therapist — Independent Contractor

Grounded Massage Plus is growing, and we are looking for a skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our therapeutic practice in Evergreen, Colorado.

This opportunity is ideal for a dependable, client-focused therapist who wants the freedom of an independent contractor position without having to build a practice entirely from scratch.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a therapist who is:

• Actively licensed as a massage therapist in Colorado
• Experienced in therapeutic and deep tissue massage
• Dependable, professional, and self-motivated
• Comfortable working independently
• Focused on delivering thoughtful, results-oriented care
• Comfortable managing the client experience from intake through checkout and rebooking
• Growth-minded, coachable, and interested in developing long-term client relationships
• Available for at least one evening and/or one weekend day

Two or more years of massage experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider a motivated therapist with strong skills, professionalism, and the right approach to client care.

Position Responsibilities

The therapist will be responsible for:

• Reviewing client intake information
• Performing customized therapeutic massage sessions
• Communicating treatment recommendations clearly and professionally
• Completing client checkout
• Encouraging appropriate rebooking
• Managing basic scheduling needs
• Maintaining a clean, professional treatment room
• Providing a dependable and consistent client experience

Because Grounded Massage Plus does not operate with a traditional front desk, therapists should be comfortable taking ownership of the client experience from arrival through departure.

Compensation

This is a commission-based independent contractor position.

Compensation includes:

• Competitive commission-based pay
• Opportunities for advancement as the therapist grows within the practice
• Additional commission opportunities
• All gratuities paid directly to the therapist

Schedule

Scheduling is flexible and will be developed around the therapist’s availability and current client demand.

Applicants should be available for at least one evening and/or one weekend day. Additional availability may provide greater opportunities to build a consistent schedule.
