Phooey is a funk-jam band from Denver, Colorado known for improvisational jams, high energy shows, and their hodgepodge of instruments. The six-member band finds its roots in many genres including funk, jazz, soul, metal, and fusion, but will send it to space when the time is right. Compelled by the healing nature of sound, Phooey’s mission is to connect with something subtle, yet deeper. The energy is palpable when there is nothing to lose. Join in, as they return to old spaces and explore uncharted territory.
