Is wildlife adequately protected in Jeffco? LWV seeks answers
Over the past year, the League of Women Voters of Jefferson County has been reviewing its current positions on wildlife protection to determine if they are adequate or whether revisions are needeed via a study update. Members examined the impact on wildlife of such things as land use, air pollution and climate change and also measures taken to mitigate negative impacts. The League will discuss its findings on Tuesday, May 13, at its meeting in the Evergreen area. The public is welcome.
