Jean Bell is a local poet who lives on the ranch her husband?s family homesteaded. Her new book, At Home on Blue Creek, reflects on sights and sounds common around Evergreen ? cold winters, an old red barn, chickadees at the birdfeeder, a walk in the woods with her husband. Others of her poems wander farther, inspired by the nightly news or her own whimsical muse. Jean?s gentle humor and sensitive imagery invite you to celebrate the precious everyday moments captured in her poems.
