Vital links to regional history are located within many Jefferson County Open Space parks. The ruins of the Walk Castle atop Mount Falcon, the summer White House cornerstone, Hiwan Homestead Museum, Baehrden in the Rockies, the mysterious places known as the Plantation and the Lion's Den, paleontology sites reaching back 150 million years, a hallowed Native American meditation area... These are only a few of the amazing locations shown to you in this magical history tour of Jefferson County Open Space. Ages 13 years ? Adults This 1.5 hour presentation will be in one of the buildings at Hiwan Homestead Museum. When you arrive, please look for signs directing you where to go.
