Our artists: Betsy Buckner-Kadane is a wife, mother and artist, but not always in that order. She has been a resident of Evergreen for 15 years and a full-time artist for 8. Each of her paintings strives to capture her emotions of the moment. Simplistic, yet vibrant, hurried but planned, musical, expressive strokes are all characteristics of her style. Lorene Joos is a long time artist who now heads up the Lakewoods Cultural Art Program. She has also served as the Executive Director of the Center for the Arts and shines at guiding childrens programs.
