Friday, Feb 3 from 8am-5pm and again on Saturday, Feb 4 from 8am-1pm sculptors will be creating snow sculptures. On Sunday, from 1pm-2pm, sculptures will be judged for originality, detail, design, use of snow and overall appeal. Awards and prizes will be presented at 2pm. 1st Place $300, 2nd Place $200 and 3rd Place $100. Entry fee for teams: $100. Registration deadline: Sunday, Jan 29.

Snow Sculpture Contest at the Winter Festival February 3-4 at the Evergreen Lake House
A collaborative community event organized by Evergreen Park and Recreation District, Art for the Mountain Community & Center for the Arts Evergreen. Teams will create snow sculptures from 6’ X 6 ‘ bocks of snow at the Lake House on Friday, Feb 3 from 8am-5pm and again on Saturday, Feb 4 from 8am-1pm. Plan to stop by and watch artists create something wonderful out of a block of snow! On Sunday, from 1pm-2pm, Art for the Mountain Community board members, Gail Riley, Peter Eggers, Sydney Bernard-Hogling and Karen Lindsay will join Steve Sumner, Executive Director of the Center for the Arts Evergreen, to judge the sculptures for originality, detail, design, use of snow and overall appeal.
