Where's Waldo? In Evergreen, of course! He's turning 25 this year, and to celebrate, the famous fellow in the striped shirt and black-rimmed specs is visiting 20 different local businesses all through the month of July. The event promotes shopping locally via Waldo's birthday celebration. By looking for Waldo in the places of participating businesses, we hope you'll see new folks come through your door. Children who spot him can win prizes, including buttons, books, and more. Participating businesses are HearthFire Books of Evergreen, the host bookstore, Seasonally Yours, Replay, Go Paint! Business Express, Village Gourmet, Beau Jo's, Mountain Man Nuts, The Green Merchant, Twigs, Watermark, Tuscany Tavern, Evergreen Nature Center at the Lake, Evergreen Wild Bird Store, Chowdown, Baskin-Robbins, Center for the Arts Evergreen, Le Peep, Marmalade, and Hiwan Homestead Museum.
