Fees/Admission
Tickets can be purchased at Mountain Resource Center’s front desk from 9 am to 1 pm and 2 to 5 p.m. Monday – Thursday or online at www.mrcco.org.
Tickets include food and one drink ticket per person
$45 - individuals
$80 - couples
$95 - family pack (2 adults and 2 children ages 4-14)
$15 - kids 4-14
Children 3 years of age and under are free
Additional drink tickets are $5 each.

Mountain Resource Center's 2nd Annual Mountain Derby Daze Fundraiser with a new location and new venue this year! Whether it takes the form of chilled mint juleps or the trademark phrase “And they're off”, there are few sporting events with the visibility or popularity of the Kentucky Derby. Please join Mountain Resource Center for a true iconic event of Americana at the 2nd Annual Mountain Derby Daze event celebrating the tradition of the official Kentucky Derby. This family friendly event is being held at Anchorage Farm, a beautiful horse ranch in Pine, Colorado. The Kentucky Derby race will be aired live at 4:34p.m. MST as the event finale.
Included in the ticket price, Southern Derby fare by Creative Cuisines will be served as well as one drink ticket for mint juleps, beer and wine. And for the kids, Shirley Temples.
- Entertainment includes Sharla Jackson as the Emcee, as well as singing the National Anthem.. Playing one of kind rock, jazz and blues will be Ruth Israel & the band Once Removed.
- Wear your own derby hat or purchase from a limited supply of decorated women’s derby hats, available for $10, and enter in the “Best Derby Hat” contest, one for men and one for women.
- Have your picture taken with local Royalty and the “Triple Crown” horses.
- Come ready to play games, enjoy our silent auction, and for the Kids, have your face painted and compete to win prizes in Hobby Horse Races. Riders Up!
BOOTS are a must! This is a real horse arena with dirt floors. They can be cowboy boots, working boots, hiking boots, fashion boots .... but please wear some type of boot.
