The smallest planet in our solar system will pass near the center of the sun at 9:00 am and reach its outer edge by 12:30 pm. Special solar viewing can be done at three different parks, so drop by at any point to observe this unique celestial event. All ages. Registration is not required for this program. Please drop by anytime between 9:00 am - 12:30 pm to talk with a naturalist. The naturalist will be set up near the trailhead of Elk Meadow Park - Lewis Ridge Trailhead just off of the parking lot. Lewis Ridge Trailhead: 2855 Bergen Peak Dr. Evergreen, CO 80439 Unable to make it to Elk Meadow Park? We will also have naturalists and solar viewing equipment available at Crown Hill Park and Mount Falcon Park - East Trailhead to view this unique celestial event.
