We've heard about the "Me Too" movement in the headlines and how it is affecting the movie and media industries, but what does it mean for your business here in Colorado? With new claims of sexual harassment hitting the headlines every day, it’s not if but when will a company will have to respond to these claims. Employers Council is pleased to offer local chambers of commerce a seminar for their members to address this complex issue. The session will last 60 minutes and be followed by a short Q&A. The seminar will be led by an experienced employment law attorney and harassment investigator. The session will ensure that participants are prepared to respond in such a way that protects all parties involved and ensures the company has all the facts to make the right decisions. About the presenter: Michele Sturgell, J.D., Certified Title IX Investigator Manger, Workplace Investigations, Employer's Council This event is a Lunch & Learn hosted by the Golden Chamber of Commerce. This is a "Brown Bag" event so please feel free to bring your own lunch with you to enjoy during the presentation. We will allow for a short period of networking along with the educational portion of the event.
