Jeffco LWV key in preservation of county open space
Today, Jefferson County residents and visitors alike enjoy thousands of acres of land saved from development and preserved for future generations. The Jefferson County League of Women Voters was instrumental in this preservation and has been documenting its involvement through its Open Space Legacy Project. Results will be reviewed at a Jan. 28, LWV meeting at Highland Rescue Team Ambulance Service, 317 S. Lookout Mountain Rd. The public is welcome. Call 303-526-7446 for more information.
