Snow has been falling and the holiday season is just beginning. We are celebrating our 7th annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Show, and we have decked the halls with wonderful gifts for all budgets. Also, we are bringing back our annual holiday fundraiser, Wreaths and Trees, and new this year, Gingerbread Houses for the silent auction. Join us at the Center for the opening reception on Friday, November 27th, 5-8pm. Local artisans will fill the Center with all kinds of hand-crafted gifts: fine art, glass, greeting cards, traditional holiday items, jewelry, and much more! Center for the Arts Gift Certificates are also available, and can be redeemed for classes as well as works of art. There is no better gift than a handmade one, and you will find gifts in all price ranges. Beat the holiday rush and crowds of the malls and come to the Center for the Arts Evergreen. This year it is even more important that you shop local and support artists. The Holiday Arts and Crafts Show runs through December 31st, 2009. Bring the whole family to our special Holiday Family Open House on Sunday, December 6th, 2-4pm where there will be children?s activities, refreshments, and of course, great holiday shopping for everyone on your list! And you don?t want to miss out on the silent auction of Wreaths, Trees, and Gingerbread Houses created by locals, artists and non-artists alike. Bid on something for yourself or as a gift for someone else. The silent auction begins November 27th and ends at the Holiday Family Open House on December 6th so the winners can take their items home in time for the holidays.
