Live musical theater at its finest! The Evergreen Children's Chorale, a community performing arts organization for children in 4th through 8th grades, is pleased to present GODSPELL JR. Godspell Jr. is one of the the most well-loved musicals of all time with long-running success on and off Broadway since 1971. Based on the Gospel of St. Matthew, "Godspell" musically weaves together a series of parables about the life of Jesus. Godspell has remained such an important part of the modern musical theater scene because of its versatility in design and the opportunity to incorporate clowning, pantomime, charades, acrobatics and vaudeville, and more. Featuring some of the greatest songs of all time such as "Day by Day" and "Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord, "Godspell Jr." is a must-see for audiences of all ages.
