FOR EVERGREEN’S 28TH ANNUAL FREEDOM RUN 5k
EVERGREEN, Colo.—Planning to walk or run in the July 4 Freedom Run 5K? Early registration has begun online at www.mtevans.org. You can sign up and pay your registration fee now, and pick up your t-shirt, race bib and timing chip at the starting line July 4. The race, an Independence Day tradition since 1982, starts at 8 a.m. at Evergreen Middle School and finishes with an awards ceremony and post-race party at Nick’s Pro Fitness. All proceeds benefit Mt. Evans Hospice and Home Health Care. To register, or for more information, visit Mt. This isn’t work, it’s fun! Join the volunteers who make the Mt. Evans Hospice Freedom Run a success.
Whether you’re directing traffic, serving water to thirsty runners or entertaining participants, you’re encouraged to join the hard-working, fun-loving volunteers at the 28th annual Freedom Run 5K. Volunteers are a major force in the success of this fundraiser for Mt. Evans Hospice and Home Health Care. The 3.1-mile walk/run starts at 8 a.m. at Evergreen Middle School and follows a gently rolling course to the finish line at Nick’s Pro Fitness. Volunteers are sought for a variety of duties such as registration, parking patrol, course safety, refreshments, finish line and clean up. Volunteers, who must be at least 18 years of age or accompanied by a parent or guardian, receive a complimentary Freedom Run T-shirt and snack.
