Caregiver Survival Skills is a free educational series presented by the Mountain Caregivers Resource Group. September?s topic, ?Know the 10 Signs: Early Detection Matters,? will be presented by a representative of the Alzheimer?s Association of Colorado. If you or someone you know is experiencing memory loss or behavioral changes, it?s time to learn the facts. Early detection of Alzheimer?s disease gives you a chance to begin drug therapy, enroll in clinical studies and plan for the future. This interactive workshop features videoclips of people with Alzheimer?s disease as a way to highlight the challenges they face every day. The free seminar will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22, at the Evergreen Fire & Rescue Administration Building, 1802 Bergen Parkway, Evergreen. Reservations are recommended. For more information or to RSVP, call 303-674-6400.
