Kristina Kefalas with Payroll Vault - Jefferson County will be presenting a FAMLI(Family and Medical Leave Insurance Program) program overview, what Employer responsibilities are, important steps to prepare for FAMLI, as well as exemplify what a paycheck stub will look like with the premium.
Beginning January 1, 2023 nearly every Colorado worker will fund the state's FAMLI program by paying up to 0.45% of their wages every paycheck. Employers with a total of ten or more employess nationwide must also contribute an additional 0.45% of wages.
*Benefits will not start being paid out until 2024.
