Evergreen Players is thrilled to bring back Seasons Readings, our cherished holiday tradition. This December, six outstanding actors from our master company will portray all the characters in our exclusive rendition of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. 

A beloved part of our holiday festivities, this adaptation has its roots in the 1990s when Scott Ogle, then a student at Iowa State University, was introduced to the play by his professor, Jane Cox. She directed the inaugural production of her six-actor adaptation, and at the conclusion, she generously gifted the script to Scott. This rendition of A Christmas Carol is fun for the entire family.

Onstage, each actor holds a script, yet the characters come alive through dynamic costume changes, voice modulation, and physical transformations. The humor and valuable lessons of this classic tale culminate with Tiny Tim’s heartfelt proclamation, “God bless us, every one!”.

Shows will be held at historic Center Stage, 27608 Fireweed Drive, Evergreen CO 80439. Friday & Saturday performances begin at 7:30 p.m.  and the Sunday matinees performances at 2:00 p.m.
