Don?t miss this extraordinary safety event! The District Attorney?s 7th Annual Community Safety Awareness Day will be August 22, from 9:00-1:00 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. This event offers a complete range of free safety services for the entire family. Free document shredding (limit 5 boxes), small electronics recycling, prescription round-up, free credit reports printed on-site and consultation with bank officers, free bike helmets for kids and bike rodeo, free 911 cell phones for seniors, 90 booths, lots of activities for kids, valuable information and giveaways.
