Please join us for our 15th Annual Community Weed Day on Saturday, June 23 at Evergreen Lake with weeding from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. Even if you can’t help with the physical weeding, Weed Day is for you! The public is invited to stop by and see our display of local noxious weeds or bring in plants from their yards for identification and control information. At 11:15, we’ll be celebrating 15 years of successful weed work with cake and door-prizes.
Weed Day is an all-volunteer, cooperative effort to maintain a healthy habitat for native plants and wildlife. Grab your garden gloves, sharpen your diggers, and become part of this community tradition. For more information, go to www.evergreenaudubon.org or email sheltonpublicaddress@hotmail.com
