Name: Re-Wilding Through Bird Language
Date: May 11, 2019
Time: 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM MDT
Event Description:

Sharpen your naturalist instincts and improve birding success by learning the language of the birds!

If you like to spend time watching and identifying birds, at some point you have probably wondered what they are actually saying. This spring presentation is not about identification through vocalizations, but instead provides an introduction to a common language birds use to speak to each other about the landscape, predators, and even YOU.  This ancient survival skill is about ‘what’ is being communicated versus ‘who’ is communicating. By learning some bird language basics, energizing our senses, and quieting our minds we can better understand the tweets, chirps, tuts and whistles of our feathered friends.
