A fascinating and powerful multi-media presentation about the life\, behavior and
communication systems of the Atlantic Spotted Dolphin will be offered by
Research Director and WDP Founder Dr. Denise Herzing (Florida Atlantic
University Biological/Psychological Sciences).
Dr. Herzing is a 2008 recipient of the prestigious Guggenheim Award for her
dedication as a scientist and 24 years of study of the Atlantic Spotted Dolphin in
the Bahamas. This prestigious award recognizes Dr. Herzing&rsquo\;s dedication as a
scientist and was &ldquo\;appointed on the basis of stellar achievement and exceptional
promise for continued accomplishment&rdquo\; (as stated in Guggenheim Foundation&rsquo\;s
press release\, April 3\, 2008). The Wild Dolphin Project gathers information on
the natural history of these dolphins including behaviors\, social structure\,
communication and habitat. This powerful presentation will leave you feeling the
passion of Dr. Herzing&rsquo\;s life-long commitment to learning about the lives of wild
