SUMMARY:Veteran Mental Health First Aid Course
DESCRIPTION:Mental Health First Aid for Milirary\, Veterans and their Families is an evidence-based training program developed for adults to support members of their community experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge. Specifically\, this course addresses the relevance of mental health to military culture\, how to break down stigma\, and how to reach those who suffer in silence and are reluctnat to seek help.\n\nThis is an all day in person class hosted by Adaptive Adventures in Westminster. There will be no on-line pre-work as all course material will be covered during the 8 hour session. Lunch will be served on campus during the trianing day. We would like to extend a special thank you for ALL the work Adaptive Adventures does to support the Veteran Community and we are thrilled to partner with them for this class!\n\nTo attend a class you must:\n\n*Register by November 14\, 2025\n\n*Have a valid email address to access MHFA materials and your certificate\n\n \n\nThis course is designed for anyone who would like to make their community a healthier\, happier and safer place for all.
