DESCRIPTION:Join Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado at stunning Summit Lake Park on Mt. Evans as we both restore the historic stone shelter and continue ecological restoration efforts around the lake. Because of the severe high-altitude weather conditions\, the stone shelter has deteriorated. Those weather conditions also make for a delicate ecosystem which has been damaged by careless foot traffic. Volunteers will engage in an all-out restoration effort.
