DESCRIPTION:The DV8 Parent Small Group will be hosting an outreach speaker on the topic of self harm and suicide prevention. Join us October 27th at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall at Aspen Ridge Church\, to hear counselor Clark Wilhelm talk to parents on this sensitive issue before sharing with the students during DV8 in November. Clark comes to us from Southeast Christian Church and has worked as a counselor and assistant principal for the past 24 years. In his words\, "My great passion is bringing understanding to those difficult and often traumatic events in life that impact decision-making." Please feel free to invite other parents in the community to join us for this outreach program!
