DESCRIPTION:Join DRIVE SMART in celebrating the new year at our annual Skate the Lake!  Not only is this DRIVE SMART's largest fundraiser\, Skate the Lake is a family focused and alcohol-free event held at the beautiful Evergreen Lake on New Year's Eve.   The event has fireworks shows\, bands\, ice skating\, marshmallow rooasts and many other fun facets. \n\nFor the over 20 years that we have held Skate the Lake\, the Evergreen community has not had one single fatal crash on New Year's Eve!  The proceeds from this signature event helps us with funding our free transportation outreach programs for all age groups to include our child passenger safety program\, motorcycle program. teen motor vehicle safety program and experienced driver program.
