DESCRIPTION:Marcia Boyd from Christ the King will prepare a light catered luncheon this Friday December 20 from 11:30-1:30 at Christ the King Church in Evergreen. We will be holding our annual cookie exchange and crafts. We will have dozens of cookies\, soup and refreshments. Our wonderful volunteers help put this together as a fun holiday tradition. ??\n\n\n\nMenu:\n\nWe will serve a hearty beef barley vegetable soup\, and a vegetable barley soup option.  Oyster crackers will be on the tables.  We will start off with a mixed green salad w/cranberry vinaigrette.  Assorted cookies for dessert and for take home.\n\nDave from the Knights of Columbus will be playing piano for us! He'll get us in the holiday mood with some Christmas songs and a few other songs for variety. Come enjoy this festive time of year! ?? ??\n\n\n\nTeresa will be making old Victorian era orange and clover pomander balls.  You use sm oranges ?? or cuties (or ?? and limes)\, poke holes (w/toothpick or pencil) in a pattern\, and insert clover stems.  Tie a ribbon around it and enjoy a nice smelling room accent.\n\n \nCookie donations can be dropped off on Wednesday Dec 18 from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm\, Thursday Dec 19 from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm and Friday Dec 20 between 8:00 am - 9:00 am at Christ the King Church in the kitchen which located at the south side of the church (you may drive up to the left side of the building to drop off cookies to the kitchen.)  Please label all donations "Seniors4Wellness" and use containers that don't need to be returned.  We will make up trays of assorted cookies that morning. There will be a gluten free option for the cookie exchange. \n\n\n\n\nOur wonderful volunteers from Christ the King\, Knights of Columbus\, Salvation Army\, Blue Spruce Kiwanis\, Evergreen Rotary\, Mountain Foothills Rotary and Seniors4Wellness will be serving food and drinks - THANK YOU!!!
