DESCRIPTION:Evergreen Audubon September Meeting\n\nThursday\, September 2\, 2010\n\n7:00 PM\n\n\n\nSpeaker: Brad Andres and Dave Balogh\n\nIn recent years\, birders from around the world have discovered Panam  as a premier birding destination. Nestled between Costa Rica and Colombia\, Panam 's country list contains 982 bird species. In January 2010\, nine Evergreen Audubon members ventured south to sample Panam 's abundant birdlife. Join former Evergreen Audubon president Dave Balogh and Bird Monitoring Chair Brad Andres as they present an armchair tour of this intriguing country. They will share photographs of some of the 427 species of birds the group encountered (with exotic names like ara ari\, jacobin\, tityra\, and schiffornis) and will also give an overview of some of the human history. The Thursday\, September 2\, meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at Church of the Hills\, 28628 Buffalo Park Road (just west of Evergreen Library)\, in the downstairs Fellowship Hall. Refreshments and the business meeting will follow. Guests are welcome.
