DESCRIPTION:The nonpartisan Jeffco League of Women Voters invites the public to attend its meeting with Jefferson County Commissioners on Wednesday\, May 11\, in Golden. League members and the public will have an opportunity to question\, meet and visit with Commissioners Libby Szabo\, District One\; Casey Tighe\, District Two\; and Don Rosier\, District Three. The League requested the meeting in an effort to establish a working relationship with commissioners. There is no charge to attend and reservations are not required. The meeting will be from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Jefferson County Administration Building\, 100 Jefferson Parkway\, in Golden. The LWV?s mission is to promote informed and active participation in government and to influence public policy through education and advocacy after consideration by its members.
