A potential nominee should have made a significant and long-standing economic\, civic\, or social impact within Jefferson County. If the nominee is an individual they may or may not be holding the position for which they achieved major success\, or for which they are being honored. If a nominee is currently holding the position he/she must be at the crown of their career.
